In addition to the infantry, three vehicles and two howitzers landed on the field.Most of the paratroopers were transferred to Estonia directly from the Fort Bragg division base in North Carolina, USA - the flight took about ten hours. The landing over the Nurmsi airfield was carried out from a height of 300 meters using military transport aircraft C-17, as well as C-130, which delivered paratroopers from Lithuania.
