Basayev lackey held in North Caucasus
 A member of a group led by prominent guerilla leader Shamil Basayev has been detained in Chechnya, a spokesman for the federal forces in the North Caucasus told Interfax. The detainee, whose name has not been disclosed, is a resident of Shali, he said.
