Time To Read 1984 Again?
 Was dusting off and sorting out my book shelves and found my old paperback copy of 1984. So I started thumbing thru it and saying to myself yep that happened, that is happening, and etc...eg. Ministry of Truth The Ministry of Truth controls information: news, entertainment, education, and the arts. Winston Smith works in the Records Department, "rectifying" historical records to accord with Big Brother's current pronouncements so that everything the Party says appears to be true. So while we "Hear" a lot of about how the USA is mimicking 1984, when was the last time you analyzed and compared it yourself? Here is an currently published WiKi example of the 1984 Plot.
