I’m so glad. One does worry.
[KhaamaPress] According to an Afghan provincial official and an army officer, the Taliban

have taken control of Sherkhan port, Afghanistan’s main border crossing with Tajikistan, with some security officers leaving their outposts and fleeing across the border.

Kunduz provincial council member stated that after an hour of fighting the Taliban captured Shir Khan port and the town and all the border check posts with Tajikistan, the Taliban’s most major conquest is the capture of Shir Khan Bandar as it is a significant trade and transit point between Afghanistan and Tajikistan, he said.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban spokesperson, confirmed that the hard boyz have taken control of the border crossing over the Panj River.

Officials reported on Wednesday that at least 134 Afghan troops escaping a Taliban onslaught had crossed the border and found sanctuary in Tajikistan. The situation is intense as a result of the Taliban’s offensive on the Shir Khan border, according to a statement from Tajikistan’s State Committee for National Security.

The statement further added that the Afghan soldiers were not denied entry as a result of upholding and complying with "principles of humanity and neighborliness".
