A large explosion shook Tehran on Friday night, with the cause not immediately clear. Rooters quoted state television ... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe? as saying "an unknown object went kaboom!" in a park, without causing damage or casualties. Firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene. Monday saw a kaboom outside Tehran, reportedly at a state-owned warehouse. The site was near factories of several major companies. Numerous explosions have been reported over the past few years in complexes vital to Iran’s nuclear program and its energy and military sectors, notably including alleged sabotage at the Natanz nuclear plant. Earlier Friday Iran’s railroad system came under cyberattack, with hackers posting fake messages about alleged train delays or cancellations on display boards at stations across the country.
