Longer Covid, anyway, which needs to be compared to the rate among Israeli healthcare workers vaccinated against the flu who get breakthrough infections of that. Majority of 39 ’breakthrough’ cases among 1,497 monitored were mild, but research author says persistence of symptoms among minority ’raises concern’.
Only 0.5% of all those in the study ended up with Long Covid, if I did the math correctly. To me this suggests that some people’s immune systems simply cannot deal well with the infection, or possibly with infection overall, for reasons not yet understood.
