s," military sources of the opposition told North Press.

"The Russian warplanes targeted Ehsem town, south of Idlib, in conjunction with the passage of a convoy of the Ottoman Turkish forces, which consisted of armored vehicles, through the town amid intense flight of the Russian drones over the convoy," the sources added.

The bombardment affected the agricultural lands connecting among the targeted towns which led to fires and cutting down some trees, according to the same sources.

"The government forces stationed in the city of Kafranbel, intensified their artillery and missiles bombardment on the villages of Kansafra, Ain Larouz, al-Fatira and Benin in the Zawiya Mountain," the sources stated.

Yesterday, on Sunday, the Russian warplanes conducted several airstrikes on the village of Tadin in Jisr al-Shughur area in the western countryside of Idlib.

The de-escalation zone in northwest Syria is subject to a Russian-Ottoman Turkish ceasefire agreement signed in March 2020; however, the area witnesses frequent mutual bombardment despite the entry of the ceasefire into force.
