Seven Pakistani soldiers, five militants killed in gun battle in South Waziristan
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A shootout left seven soldiers and five faceless myrmidons dead in Pakistain’s restive northwestern tribal areas bordering Afghanistan, the military said on Wednesday.The fighting took place during an intelligence-based operation in the country’s South Wazoo region, the site of several military operations and US dronezaps targeting homegrown and foreign bad boys. "An intense exchange of fire killed five faceless myrmidons while seven soldiers embraced martyrdom," the military said in a statement. "Cordon and search operation still continues to eliminate any other faceless myrmidons found in the areas." The military did not specify the date and time of the incident.
