Illegal immigrant, 25, is jailed for 30 years for kidnapping his ex-girlfriend, stuffing her in a suitcase and leaving her to suffocate to death by the side of the road in Connecticut
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] - Javier Da Silva Rojas, 25, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison with an additional two years supervised release for murdering Valerie Reyes, 24
- Rojas, who is an illegal immigrant living in Queens, New York, murdered his ex in 2019 by knocking her out and then shoving her body into a suitcase and leaving her on the roadside
- She died of homicidal asphyxiation, a coroner found
- He told Reyes's family that he was 'repulsed' by his action and apologized in a White Plains federal court on Thursday
