Village emir killed
A joint squad of the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Chechen Interior Ministry killed a guerilla leader who was planning a series of terrorist attacks during the May 9 celebrations on Victory Day, spokesman for the federal forces in the North Caucasus Maj. Gen. Ilya Shabalkin told Interfax on Friday."The so-called emir of Chervlyonnaya and Shelkovskaya villages, Suleyman Dakayev, has been killed," Shabalkin said.
