CDC Withdraws Use of PCR Test for COVID and Finally Admits the Test Can Not Differentiate Between the Flu and COVID Virus
[Gateway] After December 31, 2021, the CDC will withdraw the emergency use authorization of the PCR test for COVID-19 testing. The CDC finally admitted the test does not differentiate between the flu and COVID virus.
Via the CDC website:
In preparation for this change, CDC recommends clinical laboratories and testing sites that have been using the CDC 2019-nCoV RT-PCR assay select and begin their transition to another FDA-authorized COVID-19 test. CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses. Such assays can facilitate continued testing for both influenza and SARS-CoV-2 and can save both time and resources as we head into influenza season.
This explains the disappearance of Flu cases in the US in 2020. It also inflated the COVID cases as Dr. Fauci and the DC elites knew would happen.
This is huge, and will be buried I suspect. You can verify the story at the CDC website.
The lab test that has been used for almost two years to identify people as having or having been exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID is being withdrawn. *It cannot differentiate between COVID and flu viruses.*
Think about what that means for statistics on which the pandemic lockdowns have been based.
I didn’t read the CDC statement, and previous statements on the issue since the CDC announcement at the end of July that the test should be discontinued, as meaning that the test did not differentiate between Covid and influenza, but rather that the original protocol never tested for influenza at all. It seems to me, however, that the real problem with the test is that the original protocol from the WHO and CDC demanded so many amplification cycles that an unknown but very large number of results were reported as positive that should not have been. At the same time, medical staff were pushed to report many patients as having Covid who either were not infected or where Covid was a mild infection, the problem that drove them to seek treatment being something else — with Covid rather than from Covid. So the statistics were being cooked several different ways, and we will no doubt see additional — considerably lower — restatements in the months and year to come.
