Last surviving Lethpora attacker likely killed in Anantnag: Police
[GREATERKASHMIR] IGP Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
Vijay Kumar on Saturday said that one of the hard boyz killed in December 30 in south Kashmir's Anantnag encounter on December 30 is likely the last surviving holy warrior involved in Lethpora attack of February 14, 2019 in which 40 CRPF troopers were killed.

"The picture of one of the killed #Millitants in #AnantnagEncounter on Dec-30th matches with JeM top commander Samir Dar, who was the last surviving holy warrior involved in Lethpora #Pulwama #militant Attack. We are going for DNA sample matching," IGP Kashmir said in a tweet.

Police had said that a soldier and three JeM bad boyz were potted and their bodies retrieved from the site of the encounter that took place at Nowgam Dooru area of the South Kashmir district on Thursday.

Police had then identified those killed as Sultan alias Rayees alias Mavia (a foreign holy warrior), Nisar Ahmad Khanday, a resident of Dudwangan Kapran, and Altaf Ahmad Shah, a resident of Nathipora Dooru.

The IGP had said that Shah and Sultan along with another holy warrior Suhail Rather were involved in an attack at Zewan Srinagar in which three coppers were killed and 11 others injured.
