Kurdish banks in Baghdad hit with explosives

Two people were maimed in the attacks in the Karrada area, state media reported the commander of Baghdad operations Lieutenant-General Ahmed Salim as saying. "Security forces are opening an investigation into two simultaneous incidents in the Karrada district of Baghdad that occurred this evening," tweeted Iraq’s security media cell, noting the first explosion of was a sound bomb at Cihan Bank near the National Theater, and the second targeted Kurdistan Bank in al-Wathiq square.
