Deir Ezzor: Iran sockpuppets ambushed by ISIS, someone does for Kurds
Unknown individuals attacked, yesterday, a convoy of the Iranian-backed militias in Syria’s desert, killing 7 members, including high-ranking officers, and wounding 4 others. “ISIS militants targeted a military convoy of the Quds Force with shells and heavy weapons which led to the explosion of the military vehicle,” a military source of the Iranian-backed Quds Force said. The source, who preferred not to be named, added that the attack resulted in the killing of 7 members, including the brigadier general, Mahmoud Shihabi and lieutenant Ali Reyya, in addition to the injury of 4 others. All of them are of Syrian nationality. After that, the attackers withdrew heading to the depth of Palmyra desert, raising the ISIS flag, according to the source.
