Florida state senate passes bill that forbids instruction on sexual orientation in kindergarten through third grade
 [TWITTER] The Republican-dominated state legislature in Florida passed a controversial bill on Tuesday that would prohibit classroom instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third grade. Dubbed the "Don't Say Gay" bill by opponents, the bill also will allow parents to sue school districts over violations. The measure has drawn intense criticism from Democrats, LGBTQ advocates and the entertainment industry, AP reports.
