The former officer added that the influence of those Nazi groups in Ukraine has become so malicious as they threatened the former Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko, who was ready to recognize the special status of Donbas in 2015. He went on to say that a similar fate would have befallen to the current president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had he not joined these groups to the Ukrainian forces and gave them free hand everywhere.
