IDF reports two incidents of settler violence at illegal Homesh outpost
[IsraelTimes] The Israel Defense Forces reports two On Saturday night, settlers who were hurling stones at Paleostinian vehicles in the area attacked a soldier who attempted to stop them, the IDF says. And earlier today, a settler rammed a military checkpoint near the outpost, hitting an officer and another soldier, the military says. The two did not require further medical treatment according to the IDF. No suspects have been arrested, and the incidents have been reported to the police. The unauthorized settlement was officially dismantled in 2005, but a hardline yeshiva has continued to operate there on a daily basis, with no intervention by the army, in direct violation of Israeli law.
