- Brown and his partner Corporal J. Porter spotted the stolen red Ford Fusion at the 700 block of S. Cherry Lane
- The suspect was inside the car, but quickly fled when the officers arrived
- Joshua Taylor Brown, 31, was later identified as the suspect and charged on four counts
