Truck plows through ‘crowd’ of pro-choice protesters in Iowa leaving four injured, demonstrators burn American flag in DC as activists gather across US after SCOTUS overturned Roe v. Wade; more protesters at home of Justice Clarence Thomas
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • The black pickup truck was driven slowly into the crowd in Cedar Rapids at 7:20pm on Friday night, as a pro-choice march was coming to an end

  • Activists screamed at the driver to stop, as two protesters stood in his way by the hood of the pickup, but he drove steadily on

  • One woman had her foot run over and was crying in pain and unable to walk; another was thrown to the ground as he sped away, and left with bruises and scrapes

  • The driver was described by one of the protesters as a white man in his 50s or 60s with a passenger in the front seat, who they believe was angered by their demonstration: police are investigating

  • Across the nation on Friday evening, tens of thousands of people were taking to the streets to protest the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court

  • The ruling means that access to abortion is no longer guaranteed for all Americans: as a result, three states on Friday immediately brought in abortion bans

Looking at the Daily Mail’s video, I see no crowd being driven into, just a few people emoting dramatically as they LARP at the truck. What say you, dear Reader:
