Biden says he is setting up a PERMANENT troop presence on NATO's eastern flank
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] ... and sending destroyers to Spain to defend against the threat from Putin
- President Biden arrived at the NATO summit in Madrid on Wednesday morning
- He said the U.S. was changing its 'force posture in Europe'
- That includes sending two F-35 squadrons and two more destroyers, as well as deploying 5,000 more troops to Romania
- And the U.S. will establish a permanent military base in Poland, he said
- He made the announcement as leaders met to consider the threat from Russia
Does Congress need to vote on this, or at least the Senate advise and consent?
