NY Times calls out fake op-ed saying 'Biden's death would help Democrats'
[NYPOST] The New York Times ... which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... on Thursday disavowed a doctored image of an op-ed with the headline: "Joe The Big GuyBiden ...46th president of the U.S. We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created ... by the — you know — you know, the thing... ’s death would be a tragedy. But it might help the Democrats win the midterms." A Twitter user with the handle "KnowNothingTV" posted the fake op-ed on Thursday — shortly after it was revealed that President Joe Biden  ...... 46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier. Of course Corn Pop is a real person....... tested positive for COVID-19. The Times’ public relations arm felt compelled to put out a brief statement on Twitter after the image went viral, generating more than 5,800 likes and nearly 180 retweets. "This screenshot is a fake image. The New York Times did not write or publish this story," the Times’ communications team wrote on Twitter.
