According to the sources, the victim is identified as an Imam (prayer leader) of a mosque in Kunar province, who went by the name Sheikh Mohammad Israel Sahibzada.
The religious scholar is reportedly killed by unknown gunnies on Friday evening, 29th of July, as he was returning home from prayer in the Sahibzada village in Kunar province.
