Somali army says foiled truck bomb at base
[ShabelleMedia] At least two soldiers died and several maimed after a truck bomb at the entrance of their base in Central Somalia.Abdulkadir Abdi, the commissioner of Jawil District confirmed the attack, saying the troops averted the truck packed with explosives from reaching its target. Two soldiers who stopped the truck died, a heroic action that saved lives. AlShabaab grabbed credit for the attack.
