- U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents searched the 28-year-old and found the money and one of the guns under her bodysuit
- CBP agents located the other weapon hidden in the vehicle
- Moriya was turned over to the Webb County Sheriff's Office and charged with money laundering
- She is the daughter of Artemio Moriya, who is the mayor of the Michoacán municipality of Tacámbaro
