- BADAKHSHAN EXECUTIONS REPORTED – Several sources and eyewitnesses reported that 12 NRF prisoners were executed by the Taliban in the Raghistan District of northeast Badakhshan shortly after being arrested. A Taliban source claimed a video of the executions was to be released soon but orders from Kandahar had mandated the videos be erased. This information has yet to be verified.
- BUS BOMBING IN 5TH POLICE DISTRICT – 8 people were wounded in a roadside bomb attack that targeted a bus carrying employees of the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry. No group had yet claimed credit for the attack and no further information was available.

Nangarhar: An unidentified band of fighters is said to have attacked a Taliban battalion-sized element in the Shinwaru district. 4 Talibs were reportedly killed in the clash. The incident is thought to have occurred during the night.
