NISA steps up operation to hunt Al-Shabaab in Somalia
[ShabelleMedia] The National Intelligence and Security Agency [NISA] has stepped up its operations against al-Shabaab ...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...gunnies over the past few days. The elite NISA forces have intensified their efforts to hunt down al-Shabaab in the south of the country, where the military along with community fighters are making territorial gains. NISA said it carried out at least 30 cover operations targeting al-Shabaab hideouts and killed dozens of bully boys, including unnamed senior al-Shabaab commanders. In addition, the spy agency announced that it detained the al-Shabaab terror network in charge of the Mogadishu attacks and it handed them over to the relevant courts. There have also been al-Shabaab operatives who surrendered themselves to NISA and are under interrogation before being sent to rehab centers in the Horn of Africa country.
