NYC mayor Eric Adams says the city is at 'breaking point' as 400 asylum seekers arrive EACH DAY - and submits an emergency aid request to Gov. Kathy Hochul to help shelter hundreds of migrants

New York City Mayor Eric Adams said the city hit its 'breaking point' on Friday as he requested state aid to deal with 400 migrants arriving every day

Adams said that about 40,000 asylum seekers have reached the Big Apple since last spring, with 835 coming on Thursday alone

Many have been bused into the city by governors and city officials from border states, who claim they are helping migrants reach their preferred destination

Adams also called for federal aid and a immigration reform to stop the crisis
