Hunter Biden Caught Acting as a Foreign Agent – Email Shows He Discussed Breaking FARA Laws
[Republic Brief] Hunter Biden’s Laptop shows emails where he acted as a Foreign agent and discussed Breaking FARA laws but never registered himself as an agent, and that is illegal.The Foreign Agents Registration Act is a United States law that imposes public disclosure obligations on persons representing foreign interests. According to JustSecurity.com: "FARA was enacted in 1938 to combat Nazi and communist propaganda. While ostensibly a transparency statute, in actuality, the Act was used to stigmatize and mire in red tape German propaganda outlets, essentially shutting them down." FARA was widely an unenforced law until President Donald J. Trump showed renewed interest in enforcing the laws.
