- Aviation of the Southern Group of Forces attacked the accumulations of reserves of manpower and military equipment of the 112th Separate Brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Konstantinovka area, and the enemy ammunition depot in the Verkhnekamensky area.

In addition, an army aviation helicopter combat group destroyed an enemy tank in the Kleshcheevka area, as well as an accumulation of manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Menkovka area.

- The missile unit of the Southern Group of Forces hit the temporary deployment point of the 24th Separate Assault Battalion "Aidar" in Konstantinovka. Artillery subunits of the "South" group hit the accumulation of enemy military equipment in Grigorovka and Konstantinovka.

- Radiation, chemical and biological protection units of the South group, using rockets from the Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system, attacked the strongholds of the 5th Separate Assault and 9th Separate Motorized Infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Pervomaisk area.

- As part of the counterbattery fight, a 120mm mortar was destroyed in the Belogorovka area, a self-propelled artillery mount in the Maksimilyanovka area and an enemy 122mm BM-21 Grad MLRS combat vehicle in the Bogdanovka area.

1. Artemovsk is not the end yet. Around it are the largest fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - Konstantinovka, Chasov Yar, Druzhkovka, Toretsk, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk with a group of thousands. The issue with these points on the map has yet to be resolved, so the "orchestra" will go on vacation, but, apparently, will return if necessary.

2. Now the situation with the flanks will be decided, on which the main attention will switch. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have concentrated significant forces there, but it has not yet been possible to properly dispose of them - the losses are very large. According to preliminary data, the garrison of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Khromovo was almost completely destroyed.

3. Many predicted the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the 20th of May. Artemovsk is taken, on the calendar May 20th. The offensive plans, in principle, and in the DPR and LPR, in particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not been abandoned.

These plans have been prepared, and the equipment and people that we managed to accumulate and save are being pulled up to the front line. By all indications, activation could begin in the coming days.

After the flight of the 60th and 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigades, as well as 241 brigades of the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the southwestern outskirts of Bakhmut, the assault detachments of the Wagner PMC completely liberated the city. Until May 25, the territories will be cleaned from the presence of Ukrainian formations.

- Despite the long-awaited success, the situation at the front is only approaching the active phase. The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost tens of thousands of people during the defense of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) and Soledar, but parts of the strategic reserve were not involved.

- New formations from the 9th and 10th Army Corps are in the rear areas and are preparing for an attack. The radio interceptions of the members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicated the third week of May as a possible start of the offensive.

In recent weeks, artillery units have been preparing guns for intensive shelling, and ammunition has been brought to warehouses. And at the tactical level, combat orders have already been sent out.

- Artemovsk (Bakhmut) was liberated, and this victory will go down in history as one of the largest battles. And it is precisely its fall that can become a catalyst for the start of the long-awaited offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Taking into account the flank attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Bakhmut, the accumulation of formations in the Zaporozhye and South-Donetsk directions, as well as in the Kupyansko-Svatovsky direction, it is there that the main attacks of the enemy should be expected.

- In the course of hostilities in the Kupyansk direction, artillery crews of the Zapad group of troops destroyed two enemy mortar crews in the area of the settlements of Seroyarskoye and Novoselovskoye with fire from 152mm Msta-S and Msta-B howitzers.

- In addition, a special-purpose unit using Lancet loitering ammunition destroyed the P-18 air defense radar near the Seroyarskoye settlement and the electronic warfare mobile station near the Prikolotnoye settlement.

- Three attempts to rotate enemy units in the area of the settlements of Dvurechnaya, Sinkovka, Novoselovskoye were thwarted.

- The group's aviation carried out strikes on the concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade and units of the TerO.

- In the Krasno-Limansky direction, ground attack and army aviation of the "Center" group of forces attacked the areas of concentration of manpower and firepower of the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Kremennaya, Chervonaya Dibrova.

- Bomber aircraft of the Russian grouping attacked the points of temporary deployment and strongholds of the nationalists in the areas of the settlements of Torskoye and Terny.

Crews of Verba portable anti-aircraft missile systems destroyed unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Yampolovka and Kremennaya.

- On the Torsky site and in the area of Serebryansky forestry, forces and means of reconnaissance of the "Center" group revealed the movement of personnel on vehicles of the 81st Airmobile Brigade, 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade and 25th Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a result of the fire impact of the artillery units of the "Center" grouping, the enemy suffered.

- In the Kupyansky direction, air strikes and artillery fire from the "Western" group of forces hit enemy units in the areas of the settlements of Pershotravneve, Kharkiv Region, and Stelmakhivka, Luhansk People's Republic. In the area of ????the settlement of Kislovka, Kharkiv region, the activities of the Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group were stopped.

During the day, up to 55 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, three vehicles, as well as a 122mm D-20 howitzer were destroyed in this direction.

- In the Krasno-Limansky direction, operational-tactical and army aviation, artillery fire of the "Center" group of forces defeated units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Ploshchanka and Kuzmino of the Luhansk People's Republic. In addition, two Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were liquidated in the areas of the settlements of Torskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic and Kremennaya in the Lugansk People's Republic.

The losses of the enemy amounted to more than 60 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, two pickup trucks, a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount, and a 122mm D-30 howitzer.

- On the Artemovsky tactical direction, assault detachments continued fighting to liberate the western part of the city. Covering and containment of the enemy on the flanks is provided by units of the "Southern" group of troops. The strikes of operational-tactical and army aviation, artillery fire inflicted defeat on enemy units in the areas of the settlements of Bogdanovka and Yagodnoe of the Donetsk People's Republic.

Over the past day, six sorties were made by aviation in this area. Artillery of the group completed 73 fire missions. During the hostilities, more than 95 Ukrainian servicemen and mercenaries, one tank, an armored personnel carrier, three pickup trucks and a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount were destroyed.

- In the Donetsk direction, as a result of artillery fire and active actions of units of the "Southern" group of forces, up to 210 Ukrainian military personnel, one tank, five vehicles, a Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery mount, and a 152mm D-20 howitzer were destroyed during the day. In addition, two depots of ammunition and rocket and artillery weapons of the 110th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed near the settlement of Avdievka in the Donetsk People's Republic.

- In the South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, units of the Vostok group of troops defeated the enemy in the area of the settlement of Ugledar of the Donetsk People's Republic.

During the day, up to 85 Ukrainian servicemen, two vehicles and one 152mm Msta-B howitzer were destroyed.

- In the Kherson direction, as a result of fire damage over the past day, more than 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles and three cars were destroyed.

- Operational-tactical and army aviation, artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during the day hit 72 artillery units in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 89 regions. In the area of the settlement of Kopanki, Kharkiv region, a US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar was destroyed.

- During the day, air defense systems intercepted twelve HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles, as well as one US-made GBU-32 guided aerial bomb.

- In addition, eighteen Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Verkhnetoretskoye, Novoandreevka, Sladkoe of the Donetsk People's Republic, Kremennaya, Ploschanka and Novodruzhesk of the Luhansk People's Republic.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 428 aircraft, 234 helicopters, 4,236 unmanned aerial vehicles, 423 anti-aircraft missile systems, 9,236 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,100 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 4,859 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 10,322 units of special military vehicles.

- In the South-Donetsk direction, an attempt by the enemy to conduct reconnaissance in force of the advanced positions of the units of the Vostok group in the Novoselka area was thwarted. Calculations of the 152mm self-propelled guns "Acacia" destroyed one unit of automotive equipment and manpower. During aerial reconnaissance, a cluster of militants and equipment was discovered in the area of the settlement of Dobrovolye. Rocket artillery fire destroyed three infantry fighting vehicles, an armored personnel carrier, a combat reconnaissance and patrol vehicle and enemy manpower.

Calculations of the 122mm BM-21 MLRS "Grad" destroyed a car and militants in the area of Zelenoye Pole, 240mm self-propelled mortars "Tulip" - the manpower of the enemy in the area of Velika Novoselka.

- Calculations of the Tor, Osa-AKM and Strela-10 air defense systems shot down two Leleka UAVs and one each - Fury and Valkyrie.

In the Zaporozhye direction, as part of a counterbattery fight, self-propelled guns in the Stepnogorsk region and two mortar crews in the Lugovskoye and Belogorye areas were destroyed by artillery fire.

Over the past day, the Representation reported 48 facts of firing by the AFU.

In the Donetsk direction, the enemy made 13 attacks from MLRS, MFOM AT2 missiles, and 155mm artillery.

On Gorlovsky 31 artillery attacks from 152mm artillery.

On Volnovakhsky three artillery attacks from MLRS, artillery 155mm.

In the Mariupol direction, one artillery attack from long-range missiles.

Having fired 171 units of various ammunition.

Under enemy fire were areas of six settlements of the Republic: Gorlovka (Central City, Nikitovsky districts), the capital city of Donetsk (Voroshilovsky, Kiev, Kuibyshevsky, Kirovsky, Petrovsky districts), Makeevka (Chervonogvardeysky district), Volnovakha, Vladimirovka, Mariupol.

Over the past day, two civilians received injuries of varying severity in the Voroshilovsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk.

A total of 13 residential buildings were damaged in Voroshilovsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk, Nikitovsky and Central City districts of Gorlovka, as well as four civil infrastructure facilities.

In the previous day, 59 artillery attacks were recorded from the side of the VFU.

In the Zaporozhye direction, Ukrainian troops attacked in the Dorozhnyanka area after artillery strikes and managed to take some positions. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fired on Plavnya, Kamensky, Stepnoy, Novoandreevka, Novodanilovka, Malaya Tokmachka, Charovnoye and Olgovsky.

On the Donetsk front, Russian troops attacked near Novomikhailovka. With the support of artillery, they continued their assault operations in Marinka and resumed at Pervomaisky. Also, from Vodyany, they tried to advance to Severny (a settlement west of Avdeevka) ). The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked Donetsk, Vodiane, Yasinovataya and Horlivka.

To the south of Bakhmut, Ukrainian troops continued their attack on Kleshcheevka from Stupochek. Less than two kilometers separate them from the settlement. There are battles for heights of great operational importance. Russian units hold positions.

And to the north-west of Kleshcheevka, the RF Armed Forces, after artillery strikes, counterattacked in the direction of Ivanovsky. They were not able to regain the previously lost positions. In Bakhmut itself, PMC "Wagner" and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the mutual support of artillery, are oncoming on the outskirts of the city. The Ukrainian army is pulling up reserves. The RF Armed Forces shelled Belaya Gora, Predtechin, Chasov Yar, Bogdanovka, Grigorovka, Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, Vasyukovka, Spronoye and Verkhnekamensky.

In the Luhansk direction, units of the RF Armed Forces attacked in the Serebryansky forest area and managed to advance towards Grigorovka (not to be confused with the settlement of the same name northwest of Bakhmut). Armed Forces positions in Belogorovka, Makeevka, Stelmakhivka, Berestovoye, Tabaevka, Zapadny, Dvurechnaya, Novomlynsk, Figolevka, Kamenka and Kolodeznoy are under fire.
