Suspected drug trader killed in Daraa
[NPASyria] A man was killed on Sunday by unidentified button men in Daraa city, southern Syria. He was accused of being involved in drug trade in the region.A local source told North Press that "Muhammad Qassim al-Musallamah was killed as a result of being targeted by unknown button men while he was in Daraa al-Balad, in Daraa city." The source added, "Al-Musallamah is accused of working in the drug trade and promoting it in the area." The source pointed out that the unidentified button men, who were riding a cycle of violence, fled after carrying out the attack. In mid-May of last year, unknown individuals distributed leaflets threatening drug pushers and promoters in the Daraa al-Balad with accountability if they did not stop their activities.
