Former Military Officer Brutally Killed by Taliban in Kunduz: A Tragic Tale of Unjust Violence
[8am] Local sources in Kunduz report that the Taliban ...Arabic for students... have killed a former military officer in the province. According to reports on Monday, July 24, the former officer was identified as Ali Ahmad Qate. He had previously served as a traffic police officer in Kunduz. Sources add that without any apparent reason, the Taliban arrested him from his home yesterday and delivered his lifeless body to his family this morning. As of now, the Taliban have not provided any explanation regarding the detention and killing of this former military officer. It is worth noting that in recent days, the Taliban have been actively detaining former military personnel. ...and torturing or murdering them. Their logic is fairly clear.
