Foreign Pilot Harasses US Boats - Instantly Regret It!
[YouTube] Two foreign pilots flew their Cessna dangerously close to boats on Horsetooth Reservoir in Colorado but then regretted their decision when they crashed the plane. The FBI got involved and there's more to this wild story than you've probably heard.
When it comes to making poor decisions in flight, check out the tragic story of two pilots that make the WORST mistake possible:
Moved to Page 1: War on Terror Operations, Home Front: WoT because:
- It took place on 9/11/2022 in a reservoir near Ft. Collins, CO
- Pilot Ahmed M. El Kaddah: flight instructor, commercial and airline transport licenses; 3580 hours total flight time; lived in Boulder, CO;
- Co-pilot Hamad M. El-Kaddah: commercial pilot license; 7000 hours flight time; lives in Cairo, Egypt; same name and year of birth as co-pilot of EgyptAir flight 181 that was hijacked to Cyprus in March, 2016 — he volunteered to stay on the plane with hijacker so the passengers would be released, then escaped out a window
- Both pilots, who are brothers, told different stories about damage to the airplane that caused problems, but NTSB reported plane showed no damage at all. After NTSB questioned him, co-pilot Ahmad fled the country.
Interesting discussion from a pilot’s perspective at the video.
