Cop martyred in Quetta
 [Dawn] In a second assassination on police in as many days, another official belonging to Hazara...a grouping of Dari-speaking people of Sino-Tibetan descent inhabiting Afghanistan and Pakistain. They are predominantly Shia Moslems and not particularly warlike, which makes them favored targets... community was martyred in Quetta on Wednesday. Both cops were also from the Hazara community. In response to the attacks, the Hazara community expressed their grief and anger by blocking the western bypass in protest. The protest caused traffic suspension for several hours. No group or individual immediately grabbed credit for the shootings. The situation remains tense as the authorities search for the perpetrators behind the attacks and try to bring justice to the families of the martyred.
