RSF allege Sudanese army bombed Khartoum oil refinery

Pictures circulating on social media show thick smoke rising from the refinery, engulfed in flames. The destruction of the al-Jaili Petroleum Refinery is likely to have a significant impact on Sudan’s economy, as it is a major supplier of fuel to the country. The incident also raises concerns about the safety of other critical infrastructure in Sudan, which could be targeted in future festivities.
