- Victim Elvis Grullon, 15, was left with brain trauma and taken to Lawrence General Hospital along with another boy
- Nine juveniles have been identified in connection to the attack, with most arrested and charged although two of the group remain at large
- According to his mother, her son's attackers were not known to him, while police confirmed they were not from the nearby high school
