[NYPOST] Mayor Adams’ legal defense fund has raised about $500,000, an insider close to the effort said.Adams has been under a cloud since the FBI raided the home of his top fundraiser, Brianna Suggs, in November. The federal probe is reportedly focused on whether Adams’ 2021 campaign improperly worked with the Ottoman Turkish government to funnel cash to his mayoral run. Rumors of an indictment have swirled for weeks, but have so far come to nothing.
