PTI to prefer opposition benches over coalition govt: Latif Khosa

"It is a tragedy that a party with the highest number of votes is not being recognised," the senior advocate said while talking to Geo News’ programme ’Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath’ on Monday. It was a common democratic practice to extend invitations to the parties who won the highest number of seats after an electoral event, he deplored, adding that the Imran-led party was not being recognised despite securing the highest number of votes. Detailing his party’s future strategy after the final election results’ announcement, the politico said: "We did not have a good experience of forming a coalition government. We would prefer to sit on opposition benches to serve the nation."
