Former MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer's false accuser has been charged with felony fraud
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] A woman who falsely accused former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trever Bauer of sexual assault has been charged with fraudulent schemes and artifices.According to TMZ, the charge was filed against Darcy Esemonu in Arizona on Monday. A Maricopa County grand jury previously indicted her on the felony count. In a video statement, Bauer said that the charge stemmed from allegations Esemonu made against Bauer in a 2023 lawsuit. She alleged that Bauer raped her during a 2020 encounter and that she became pregnant. Bauer denied any wrongdoing in a countersuit, stating that they did have consensual sex one time in December of 2020, during which the condom broke.
