Incident involving Islamist militia leader in Eastern Sudan
[SUDANTRIBUNE] On Friday, a road accident involving a four-wheel drive vehicle carrying al-Misbah Abu Zaid, commander of the Islamist al-Baraa Bin Malik battalion, occurred on the Khashm El-Girba — Kassala road in eastern Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans.... The accident resulted in two fatalities and several injuries. According to the police press office, a tyre explosion caused the vehicle to overturn in the al-Shawak area. Among the injured was al-Misbah Abu Zaid, who was taken to Kassala Hospital for treatment along with eight others. He later appeared at the funeral of one of the dear departed.
