Bob Menendez's lengthy career in office came to an end Tuesday — a little more than a month after he was convicted of doling out political favors in exchange for gold bar bribes and cash.The 70-year-old New Jersey Democrat was convicted of 16 felonies for taking payola in exchange for using his powerful seat to meddle in investigations of three businessmen and the governments of Qatar  ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula.
