Somali Security Forces Arrest Two Al-Shabaab Operatives in Coordinated Raids

Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda...in separate operations, the agency confirmed today. Keyse Farah Hassan, identified as a medical doctor, was captured in the Jilib district where he allegedly provided treatment to al-Shabaab fighters. In a parallel operation in Mogadishu, Kooshin Mohamud Ahmed was arrested. Ahmed is accused of managing the care for maimed and sick al-Shabaab members within the capital’s hospitals.
