IDF issues evacuation orders for southern Gaza after rocket fire on southern Israel
[IsraelTimes] Following this evening’s rocket fire from the Khan Younis area in the Gaza Strip at southern Israel, the IDF is calling on Palestinian civilians in the area to evacuate to the Israeli-designated humanitarian zone.“Terror organizations are once again firing rockets at the State of Israel from your area. The specified area has been warned several times in the past,” Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman says, publishing a map of the zones that are to be evacuated. “For your own safety, you must evacuate the area immediately and move to the humanitarian zone,” he adds. The IDF in recent months has repeatedly issued evacuation orders for areas from which terrorists launched rockets at Israel. Hamas took responsibility for the rocket fire.
