International Criminal Court condemns US sanctions against officials
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The International Criminal Court (ICC) has condemned the issuance by the United States of an Executive Order seeking to impose sanctions on the court's officials and harm its independent and impartial judicial work."independent and impartial"? The Wh0re doth protest too much The ICC said in a press statement that it ''stands firmly by its personnel and pledges to continue providing justice and hope to millions of innocent victims of atrocities across the world, in all Situations before it.'' ''We call on our 125 States Parties, civil society and all nations of the world to stand united for justice and fundamental human rights ...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions... ,'' the court concluded. Last night, US President Donald Trump  ...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...signed an executive order imposing sanctions on the ICC for alleged ''illegal actions'' against the United States and Israel. The order, which was published by the White House, includes a ban on the entry of ICC officials, staff, and personnel into the United States, as well as their immediate family members. Additionally, the decree stipulates the freezing of their assets within the United States. The ICC, based in The Hague, had previously issued arrest warrants on November 21, 2024, for Israeli officials Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant for war crimes against the Paleostinian people.
