Thousands protest in Tel Aviv for hostage deal, against government
[IsraelTimes] Thousands of people are protesting in Hostages Square in Tel Aviv as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with US President Donald Trump in Washington.The demonstrators are calling on the government to reach a deal to bring home all the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. “How can you sleep at night when you are abandoning them?” asks former hostage Ilana Gritzewsky. “The State of Israel has to put forward an initiative on the table to return all the hostages in one go, not in stages, not in groups,” she says. “We want everybody now.” Protesters are also demonstrating against Netanyahu and his government.
