Glenn Reynolds, in his Tech Central Station column: What's clear is that the professionalization of journalismâa trend underway for most of the 20th Centuryâis now in full reverse gear, and the term "correspondent" may go back to its original meaning of "one who corresponds" rather than "high-paid face with good hair." Democratization instead of professionalization? Sounds good to me.I was just thinking the other day that journalism might be on its way back to the idea of "one who keeps a journal."
