Thieves leave entire Iranian province without electricity
An entire Iranian province was left without electricity Tuesday after thieves made off with key parts from several main power outlets, state television reported. "Six electrical supply towers collapsed after parts were stolen, and this has led to a total power cut," the report said, adding that engineers were working to restore power to Sistan-Baluchestan province. The desert province, one of Iran's poorest regions, is home to about 1.8 million people.Sounds like they stole the struts off the towers.
