Travis AFB Troops Mobilize For Operation Enduring FreedomGroup Made Up Of Military Journalists, Public Affairs Personnel FAIRFIELD, Calif. -- National Guard troops based in Fairfield mobilized Thursday to participate in Operation Enduring Freedom. They packed up and headed to Fort Lewis, Wash., Thursday morning. That's where they'll get their deployment orders.
