| Egypt sez to stop bombing during Ramadan |

Osama el-Baz, a top aide to Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak, says America should stop bombing the Taliban for the month of Ramadan. "Continuing to bomb Afghanistan at current levels during Ramadan would be an 'affront' to Muslims everywhere," the Associated Press quotes el-Baz as saying. Running an airliner filled with non-combatants into two large buildings in a major city really offended my sensibilities as an American. Muslims will be more considerate in the future, won't they? |
