Malaysia, which has arrested about 45 men in its campaign against Islamic militancy, said it was considering changing the rules governing religious schools, known as madrassas, to prevent them being used to stir unrest. "If we discover they are teaching something else other than religion, if they are teaching the people how to break the law, as happens in Pakistan, we will have to reconsider whether we will allow them to do so or not," Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said.
