| Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat later issued a statement condemning the attack "in the strongest possible terms." "Oh, no! Not again!" Wonder if he's had a shower yet? He said the attack causes "great negative damage" to the Palestinian cause and "gives Sharon the pretext to continue his aggression against Palestinian towns, villages and refugee camps." Pearl Harbor gave the U.S. a "pretext" to dismantle Japan. 9-11 gave us the "pretext" to dismantle the Talibs. Arafat's statement said "severe measures" would be taken against those who carried out the attacks "and those who stand behind them." Does that mean Yasser's gonna have Sheikh Yassin bumped off? Betcha it doesn't. He talks a good bloodcurdle, though. |
